The Police Department log for March 23 through April 5 lists five arrests, eight accidents and 150 motor vehicle stops, 134 of those drivers issued warnings.
Details on the arrests were provided by Deputy Chief Scott Stephens:
- On March 25, 12:32 a.m., suspicious activity near Cumberland Farms and Route 236 involved a 32-year-old male from Rochester, N.H., who was arrested as a fugitive from justice on a New Hampshire warrant for probation violation.
- On March 25, 2:29 p.m., a 14-year-old male juvenile was charged with aggravated furnishing of a schedule Z Drug (marijuana) during a drug incident report near Marshwood High School and Route 236.
- On March 25, 5:03 p.m., a 42-year-old male from South Berwick was charged with cruelty to animals logged as abuse/neglect on Willow Drive.
- On March 26, 2 a.m., an 18-year-old male from South Berwick was charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, listed as shoplifting, at Cumberland Farms.
- On March 29, 16:36, a 47-year-old male from Newport, Vt., was charged with failure to submit to arrest or detention during a motor vehicle stop near Portland and Colcord streets.
A call reporting terrorizing/threatening on Main Street at 12:42 a.m. March 28 concerned a dispute between exes and no crime occurred, Stephens said; and a reported juvenile runaway at 10:36 a.m. March 31 concerned a 17-year-old male who left his residence after an argument and returned home later in the day.

- March 27, 7:15 a.m., on Portland Street
- March 27, 7:31 a.m., near Portland Street and Route 236
- March 30, 3:37 p.m., near South Berwick Community Center and Norton Street
- April 1, 2:23 p.m., near Hooper Sands and Emery’s Bridge roads
- April 1, 3:59 p.m., near Berwick Academy and Academy Street
- April 3, 2:47 p.m., on Main Street
- April 5, 1:32 p.m., on Main Street
