Two women and two men from South Berwick were arrested in separate incidents during the period of Feb. 24 to March 9, 2025.

On Feb. 24 at 4:37 p.m., a warrant was served at a Woodland Hills residence on a 55-year-old female charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, according to Lt. Scott Stephens. On Feb. 26 at 8:56 a.m. a warrant was served at a Main Street apartment building on a 41-year-old male charged with domestic violence assault.

During a motor vehicle stop at Main and Liberty streets Feb. 28 at 9:28 a.m., a 25-year-old male was arrested because of an outstanding warrant linked to unpaid fines. On March 4 at 9:05 p.m. a 22-year-old female was charged with domestic violence assault in response to a domestic disturbance call from a Main Street residence, Stephens said.

Two calls reporting “paraphernalia/sharps/drugs” were logged during the two-week period. According to Stephens, drug paraphernalia was “found and destroyed (with) no suspects” at 4:24 a.m. Feb. 27 at Cumberland Farms and Route 236. At the same location March 1 at 1:41 a.m., “unknown pills on the ground were destroyed (with) no suspects,” he said.

A terrorizing/threatening call was reported March 6 at 5:40 p.m. from a location near the South Berwick Public Library and Young Street. The caller received a threatening text message from an unknown number, said Stephens.
