The South Berwick police logs for Sept. 23 through Oct. 6 list 31 motor vehicle stops, including 28 warnings, two arrests, and one summons to appear in court.
A 28-yr-old male from Lebanon was arrested and charged with “eluding an officer and violating conditions of release” on Oct. 3 at 10:43 p.m., according to Lt. Scott Stephens.
Also on Oct. 3, a 38-year-old male from Sanford was arrested at 11:43 p.m. “on a warrant for failure to appear on an operating without a valid license charge.”
Stephens also provided information on the investigation of a suspicious activity call on Academy Street on Sept. 30 at 4:11 p.m.
“The suspicious activity was a group of people making some type of social media video, and they were using an air-soft gun,” Stephens said. “An air-soft gun uses compressed air to shoot plastic bb’s. No one was charged, and the group was educated on their behavior.”
