During the two weeks between Nov. 4 and Nov. 17, the South Berwick police log listed three arrests and nine accidents.
The three arrests, according to Lt.Scott Stephens, involved: a 53-year-old female from Eliot “charged with theft by unauthorized taking and violation of conditions of release” on Nov. 4; an arrest during a followup investigation on Dogwood Drive that led to a 27-year-old male from South Berwick being “charged with disorderly conduct” on Nov. 4; and a 22-year-old male from Milford, Mass., who was “charged with operating without a valid license during a motor vehicle stop” on Nov. 15.
Two “Civil Complaints” were also listed, one involving a complaint from a Parent Street resident about a “bad check” and another from an Emery’s Bridge Road resident over a “neighbor dispute,” Stephens said.
Police investigated a “soliciting” complaint Nov. 9 at Woodland Hills that involved “salespeople for an alternative energy company,” he said.
And on Nov. 11, police responded to a call about a vehicle at Wally’s Farm Stand and found an abandoned vehicle that “turned out to be reported stolen from NH,” according to Stephens.
And he said, “No information will be given” regarding a “Sex Offense” at 10:40 am Nov. 15.
