Two of the four arrests reported in the police logs of Aug. 3-16 involved the same 45-year-old male from South Berwick.
Deputy Chief Scott Stephens provided information on the arrests:
- Aug. 10, 4:19 p.m., a 45-year-old male from South Berwick was arrested on Main Street on a warrant for domestic violence stalking. This same individual was also arrested on Aug 12, 4:45 p.m., at the South Berwick Police Department on a warrant for four counts of violating a protection order and domestic violence stalking.
- Aug. 12, 6:51 a.m., a 30-year-old male from South Berwick was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court on charges of operating without a valid license and failing to report an accident on Route 236.
- Aug. 15, 8:34 p.m., a 37-year-old male from South Berwick was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property following a call of suspicious activity at a Tamarack Drive residence. He was also charged with resisting arrest or detention, assault, violating conditions of release, and possession of a schedule W drug (methamphetamine).
There were six vehicle accidents during the two-week period, with no injuries reported:

- Aug. 7, 4:25 p.m., near Route 236 and Old South Road
- Aug. 9, 12:23 a.m., near Witchtrot and York Woods roads
- Aug. 12, 6:51 a.m., Route 236
- Aug. 12, 8:09 a.m., Main Street
- Aug. 14, 3:48 p.m., near Route 236 and Main Street
