Police log six arrests, 146 driver warnings and three accidents April 6-19

Deputy Chief Scott Stephens provided the following charge information on the six arrests between April 6 and April 19:

  • April 6, 7:48 a.m., a 40-year-old male from Sanford was charged with criminal threatening in response to a disturbance near Cumberland Farms and Route 236.
  • April 6, 1:14 p.m., a 15-year-old male juvenile from Rollinsford was charged with possession of marijuana during a drug incident near Marshwood High School and Route 236.
  • April 7, 10:30 a.m., a 30-year-old male from South Berwick was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and violating conditions of release, in response to a domestic disturbance on Warren Pond Road.
  • April 14, 9:52 a.m., a 37-year-old male from Barrington, N.H., was charged with operating without a valid license during a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
  • April 15, 7:32 a.m., a 28-year-old female from South Berwick was charged with operating with a suspended registration during a motor vehicle stop near Route 236 and Farmgate Road.
  • April 18, 10:56 p.m., a 36-year-old male from South Berwick was charged with assault during a disturbance on Tamarack Drive.

There were three accidents, with no injuries reported:

  • April 12, 5:42 p.m., near Route 236 and Lord’s Lane
  • April 17, 11:30 a.m., near Emery’s Bridge and Witchtrot roads
  • April 18, 12:46 p.m., Beaver Dam Road
