Police logs for March 9 through March 22 list 174 motor vehicle stops, six accidents and three arrests. In a separate incident, a runaway juvenile was found.
All three arrests occurred during motor vehicle stops, according to Deputy Chief Scott Stephens.
- On March 13, 10:52 a.m., a 25-year-old woman from North Berwick, stopped on Main Street near Town Hall, was charged with operating with a suspended registration.
- On March 15, 5:48 p.m., a 29-year-old woman from South Berwick, stopped on Quarry Drive, was charged with operating under the influence.
- On March 17, 4:03 p.m., a 36-year-old woman from Wells, stopped on Thurrell Road, was charged with operating after suspension.
A juvenile runaway reported at 9:10 a.m. March 17 involved a 12-year-old juvenile who left his home near Portland Street and Highland Avenue after an argument. Officers located him and returned him to his home, Stephens said.
During this period there were six accidents with no injuries reported:
- March 12, 4:17 p.m. near Main and Paul streets
- March 13, 1:25 p.m., Portland Street
- March 13, 4:59 p.m., near Asia Café and Main Street
- March 14, 1:38 a.m., near York Woods and Witchtrot roads
- March 14, 5:47 a.m., on Stevens Street
- March 22, 5:43 p.m., near Junction and Knight’s Pond roads
