Police logs reported six arrests, 128 motor vehicle stops and 10 vehicle crashes from Aug. 31 to Sept. 13.
Deputy Chief Scott Stephens provided information on the following arrests:
- Sept. 2, 12:59 a.m., a 41-year-old male from Milton, N.H., was charged with operating with a suspended license after a call from a female Norton Street resident that was logged as terrorizing/threatening. The male had left the residence before police arrived, but the officer made contact with him as he drove to Cumberland Farms. “There were no charges for the terrorizing. Boyfriend told not to return to the girlfriend’s residence,” Stephens said.
- Sept. 3, 1:05 p.m., a 16-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana during a drug incident near Marshwood High School and Route 236.
- Sept. 4, 7:55 p.m., a 23-year-old male from Dover, N.H., was arrested on Main Street on a warrant for failing to appear on a theft by unauthorized taking charge issued by the Kittery Police Department.
- Sept. 6, 11:18 a.m., a 23-year-old female from South Berwick was charged with failing to report a property damage accident by quickest means following an accident on Pond Road.
- Sept. 6, 8:55 p.m., a 52-year-old female from Concord, N.H., was charged with operating under the influence during a motor vehicle stop near York Woods Road and Sams Lane.
- Sept. 13, 7:37 p.m., a 22-year-old female from South Berwick was charged with operating under the influence after an accident on Pond Road.
There were 10 vehicle crashes logged during the two-week period, with no injuries reported:
- Sept. 1, 3:27 p.m., Main Street
- Sept. 3, 2:28 p.m., near Marshwood High School and Route 236
- Sept. 3, 3:08 p.m., near Route 236 and Cumberland Farms
- Sept. 6, 11:18 a.m., Pond Road (arrest)
- Sept. 6, 8:01 p.m., near Boyd’s Corner and Finson roads
- Sept. 7, 12:53 p.m., near Portland Street and Highland Avenue
- Sept. 8, 8:17 a.m., near Norton Street and Railroad Avenue
- Sept. 8, 12:11 p.m., Portland Street
- Sept. 11, 9:38 p.m., Emery’s Bridge Road
- Sept. 13, 7:37 p.m., Pond Road (arrest)
