Editor’s note: This police log summary covers one week.
During the week of July 13-19, South Berwick police logs indicate two arrests, 96 motor vehicle stops, two arrests and two accidents.
Deputy Chief Scott Stephens provided information on the arrests.
- July 18, 8:38 a.m., a 39-year-old male from Berwick was charged with operating after suspension and attaching false plates during a motor vehicle stop on Agamenticus Road
- July 19, 6:41 p.m., a juvenile from Rochester, N.H., was charged with resisting arrest or detention during a motor vehicle stop near Marshwood High School and Route 236
A terrorizing/threatening report from Berwick Road called in on July 16, 11:15 a.m., involved a political volunteer doing door-to-door solicitation. “No crime occurred,” Stephens said.
There were two vehicle accidents, with no injuries reported:
- July 13, 1:18 a.m., near York Woods and Witchtrot roads
- July 15, 1:08 p.m., Portland Street
