While there isn’t a specific start date, the town’s Assessing Agent Verna Sharpe said the three-year revaluation project will launch before the end of the year. KRT Appraisal of Haverhill Mass., the firm contracted by the town to conduct the revaluation, is still wrapping up their work in other communities, she said.
Details of the upcoming revaluation of all taxable property in South Berwick will soon be finalized and made available to the public through media, the town’s website and Facebook page, according to Sharpe. Individual property owners will be notified by mail in advance of the assessor’s visit to their property, she said.
