Former South Berwick town manager Tim Pellerin, who left that position in May, resigned from his new role as Old Orchard Beach town manager two weeks after his June 1 start there, according to the Saco Bay News.

His resignation letter, obtained by the Saco Bay News, is one sentence long, stating, “Effective June 15, 2026, I submit my notice of resignation as Town Manager of Old Orchard Beach.”

When Pellerin announced his resignation as South Berwick town manager this spring, he said, “After 4 ½ years here, I feel it’s time to move on.”

Pellerin could not be reached for comment by press time Thursday.

He previously served as Lincoln County’s director of Emergency Management & 911 Communications, town manager/fire chief in Rangeley, and town manager in Harrison. He began his career in public service in 1980 as a firefighter/EMT in Brunswick, later working as a firefighter in Portland and as deputy fire chief in Westbrook.
