The South Berwick Town Council has scheduled a series of workshops to discuss and gather information regarding the Town’s budget for next year, which will be voted on at the annual Town Meeting this spring.
Workshops will take place at 6 p.m. on the third floor of Town Hall on the following days: Tuesday, March 3; Thursday, March 5; Wednesday. March 11; Thursday, March 12; Tuesday, March 17; Thursday, March 19.
Councilors may decide fewer meetings are necessary, said Town Manager Tim Pellerin, but they are leaving open those possible dates, given that there are three new councilors this year.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the workshops, but no public participation will be accepted at these discussions. A public hearing at which residents may ask questions and offer comments will be scheduled in early April.
