Police arrest three juveniles and one adult from May 19 to June 1

Four arrests, three of them involving juveniles, and 102 traffic stops were reported in Police Department logs dated May 19 through June 1.

At 1:50 p.m. May 22, a 15-year-old was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana at Marshwood High School, according to Lt. Scott Stephens. Two other arrests at the high school were made at 10:49 a.m. May 28; a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old were charged with assault, said Stephens.

At 2:59 pm. May 24, a 54-year-old male with no known address was charged with trespassing and violating conditions of release near Kevin’s Small Engine and Tractor Service on Route 236.

A “disturbance” on Vine Street reported at 3:16 p.m. May 30 was “actually a mental health call,” Stephens said, and an individual was transported to the hospital.

A vandalism incident at Woodlawn Cemetery logged at 2:35 p.m. May 27 involved an overturned bench with no damage. It is “unknown if this was done by a person or the weather,” Stephens noted.

Five motor vehicle accidents occurred during the two-week period, with no injuries reported.
