The Town Council will hold a workshop Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 6 p.m. to discuss the future of the town hall and opinions expressed by citizens at a recent public hearing, as well as email comments they received in connection with the hearing.
At the June 28 public hearing, 17 people spoke, most of them in support of renovating the existing town hall rather than building new somewhere else.
Citizens will be able to watch the workshop in person or on zoom, but will not be able to make public comments. Town councilors have not yet met to dig into the town hall issue, according to Council Chair Mallory Cook, who said she has recommended the council meet monthly on the topic.
