Author Talk: Sandra D. Alexander

Sandra D. Alexander first started writing using it as a safe space. Her journaling became her best friend as life at home grew dark and emotionally confining. After a promise made to her dying brother and managing to flee a very toxic environment, Alexander transcribed her journals into the publication, Sticks and Stones. Sandra’s account will remind you that relationships are complex; that the people we know in public may be entirely different people at home. Sticks and Stones is a story of faith in God and commitment to integrity, values, and morals in the face of devastating abuse. Sticks and Stones is also currently being adapted into a Lifetime film.
