The Town Council’s first workshop on the proposed 2027 fiscal year budget is 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the Town Hall auditorium. The work session will be recorded and posted to the Town’s youtube channel afterward.

The council workshop with Town staff is open to the public, but no public comment will be taken at the meeting.

The proposed budget was prepared by Town Manager Tim Pellerin and Assistant Town Manager Jennifer Janelle after reviewing requests from all department heads submitted a month ago.

Additional council budget meetings with Town staff might be scheduled later this month and through March, as needed, ahead of the public hearing in early April at which the public can offer comments.

All budget workshops will be posted on the Town website as they are scheduled.

“These workshops are an important step in developing a balanced budget that reflects the needs and priorities of our community,” according to a statement on the Town website. “We encourage residents to stay informed and engaged throughout the budget season as we plan for the year ahead.”
